The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from Chokoloskee to Bonita Beach FL out 20 NM...
  Coastal waters from East Cape Sable to Chokoloskee FL out 20 NM...

* Until 600 PM EDT.

* At 452 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Chokoloskee to 9 nm east of D Tower, moving
  northeast at 10 to 15 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Chokoloskee.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.
