At 428 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles west of Loop Road Ee Center, or 17 miles east of Chokoloskee, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Shark Valley Obs Tower, Loop Road Ee Center, Big Cypress National Preserve, Dade-Collier Training Airport, Fortymile Bend, and Everglades National Park. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
