Fire Weather Forecast for southern Oregon and northern California
National Weather Service Medford, OR
422 AM PDT Thu Jun 20 2024

...Gusty westerly winds with low afternoon humidity Saturday and
Sunday east of the Cascades...

.DISCUSSION...Warm temperatures and low RHs persist through the
end of the week and into Saturday. Typical afternoon wind gusts
calm into nighttime hours today and on Friday. A weak front ahead
of an upper level pattern change will increase afternoon wind
gusts in Jackson and Siskiyou counties as well as east of the
Cascades, and winds will become WSW. On Sunday, temperatures will
cool slightly but remain above seasonal averages and dry
conditions persist. This slight cooling, low RHs, and elevated
afternoon wind gusts will continue into at least midweek.
