Fire Weather Forecast for southern Oregon and northern California
National Weather Service Medford, OR
101 PM PDT Thu Jun 13 2024

.DISCUSSION...A frontal system and upper low will approach on
Friday, then move inland north of the area late Friday and Saturday.
Temperatures will trend lower Friday, then below normal Saturday.
A 15-30% chance of precipitation is expected Friday night and
Saturday across northern Coos and Douglas Counties. Afternoon gusty
winds, up to 20-35 mph, are expected during this time, too,
especially for areas east of the ascades and in the Shasta & Scott
Valleys. Another low pressure system may bring additional chances
for precipitation (15-45%) over southwest Oregon and northern
California, along with gusty winds and cooler temperatures.
Confidence is low in the details for this period.
