Fire Weather Forecast for southern Oregon and northern California
National Weather Service Medford, OR
620 AM PDT Mon Sep 23 2024

...Gusty northeast winds at the Coast Range diminishing this morning...
...Gusty southwest to west winds east and low humidity of the Cascades
Wednesday...

.DISCUSSION...Temperatures will trend warmer through Tuesday with
continued dry weather. Gusty east to northeast winds will ease
later this morning as the thermal trough weakens. Temperatures trend
lower Wednesday through late in the week as a couple fronts
arrive. The first will move inland late Wednesday into Wednesday
night with light rain amounts for the coast, coastal mountains
and Douglas County. Gusty winds and low relative humidities are
expected Wednesday afternoon east of the Cascades. Another weaker
front arrives later Friday with very light rain totals for just
the Coos coast.
