.DISCUSSION...A shallow marine layer may be just deep enough to
produce low clouds and patchy fog early Tuesday morning with RH
around 93 percent at 9 AM. The stratus will then burn off. Minimum
RH will be seasonably high Tuesday afternoon at around 80
percent. This is sort of a tricky area near the river with minimum
RH values as much as 85 percent at the river bank, dropping down
significantly (at around 60%) away from the river. Expecting a strong
inversion Tuesday afternoon, so smoke may disperse poorly. Winds
are expected to be out of the northwest with speeds dropping
significantly after sunset. Compared to Monday night, the marine
layer will make a deeper, stronger intrusion Tuesday evening,
beginning around sunset. Light, drizzly showers are possible
overnight until around 9 AM Wednesday. A frontal passage is
expected to bring light rain Wednesday night.
