Mississippi Sound... Perdido Bay Area... South Mobile Bay... Until 430 AM CDT.... At 258 AM CDT...A line of strong thunderstorms was located along a line extending from near Bon Secour Bay to near Central Dauphin Island...moving east at 15 knots. Locations impacted include... Sand Island Lighthouse, Bon Secour Bay, Farewell Buoy, Middle Bay Light, Mississippi Sound East Of Pascagoula, Heron Bay, Perdido Pass, Orange Beach, Weeks Bay, and Central Dauphin Island. The primary threats from these storms are wind gusts up to 30 knots...locally higher waves...and heavy downpours. Boaters should consider seeking safe harbor until these storms have passed. Weather conditions support the development of waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous waves and seas.
