...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Minnesota River at Morton affecting Redwood and Renville Counties.

  Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Lac qui Parle, Chippewa
  and Yellow Medicine Counties.

...The Flood Warning is cancelled for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Minnesota River at Savage affecting Carver, Dakota, Hennepin and
  Scott Counties.

.Widespread rain returns to the forecast Saturday, with the
potential for 1-2" of storm total rainfall across south central
Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Looking ahead, an unsettled weather
pattern aims to produce more heavy rain across the Upper Midwest
next week. This will result in an increase in water levels and the
potential for more river flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Minnesota River at Morton.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Riverside Rd and Front Street flooded in
  North Redwood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 800 PM CDT Friday, the stage was 21.2 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 800 PM CDT Friday was 21.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    tomorrow evening and continue falling to 19.2 feet Friday,
    June 21.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    21.4 feet on 05/31/2004.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Minnesota River at Montevideo.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Low lying areas and some roads along the
  river begin flooding, along with some basements of houses along
  the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 800 PM CDT Friday, the stage was 14.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 800 PM CDT Friday was 14.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.5
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage early Monday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    14.6 feet on 07/26/1962.
