FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
National Weather Service Marquette MI
534 AM EDT Tue Jun 25 2024

...Drier conditions behind the cold front today, but then more light
showers possible on Wednesday...

.DISCUSSION:

Fire weather concerns will remain low as an active weather pattern
continues across the area, especially late this week into early next week.
After showers taper off over the east half this morning, expect drier
conditions today across the area in the wake of a cold front. Mostly
dry conditions continue tonight as surface high pressure builds in from
the north. A weak disturbance will bring in more light showers on
Wednesday before building high pressure results in dry weather Wednesday
night into Thursday. Another round low of showers and storms are expected
Friday into Saturday as a cold front approaches from the Plains.
