...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN SULLIVAN...
NORTHEASTERN HAWKINS...EAST CENTRAL LEE AND WESTERN SCOTT COUNTIES
THROUGH 430 PM EDT...

At 352 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles west of Gate City, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Kingsport, Gate City, Surgoinsville, Weber City, Colonial Heights,
Church Hill, Mount Carmel, Duffield, Clinchport, and Bays Mountain
Park.
