.DISCUSSION...

Idaho (Zones 102 and 103): A ridge of high pressure will move over the
Northern Rockies today, allowing for slightly above normal temperatures.
Most districts will experience light terrain driven winds, and a mix of
sun and high clouds. Districts in the northern Clearwater NF will see
mostly cloudy (high clouds) skies. A trough of low pressure will re-
introduce showers and thunderstorms to the forecast for Sunday, with the
highest concentration of rainfall across Clearwater County. Currently,
there is a 35-40% probability for around 0.25" of rainfall by Monday
morning.

Northwest MT (Zones 104 and 105): A ridge of high pressure will move
over the Northern Rockies today, allowing for slightly above normal
temperatures. High clouds streaming in from the southwest will lead to a
mostly cloudy day for all districts. A trough of low pressure will re-
introduce showers and thunderstorms to the forecast for Sunday.
Currently, there is a 35-40% probability for around 0.25" of rain for
the valleys by Monday morning, and the higher terrain will have around
a 60-70% probability. A northwest flow pattern through mid-week next
week, will lead to isolated showers each day and seasonable
temperatures.

West Central MT (Zones 106, 107 and 108):  A ridge of high pressure will move
over the Northern Rockies today, allowing for slightly above normal
temperatures. High clouds streaming in from the southwest will lead to a
mix of sun and clouds for all districts. A trough of low pressure will
re-introduce showers and thunderstorms to the forecast Sunday.
Currently, most of the wetting rains will be confined to areas north of
I-90, though the west Lolo currently has a 20-30% probability for up to
0.25" by Monday morning. A northwest flow pattern through mid-week next week,
will lead to isolated showers each day and seasonable temperatures.

Southwest MT (Zones 109, 110 and 111): A ridge of high pressure will move
over the Northern Rockies today, allowing for slightly above normal
temperatures. A trough of low pressure will re-introduce scattered
showers and thunderstorm to the forecast for Sunday afternoon and
evening, with spotty wetting rains. A northwest flow pattern through mid-week
next week, will lead to isolated showers each day and seasonable
temperatures.
