.SYNOPSIS...A high pressure ridge will slowly shift E of the area
tonight through Thu night. Winds and seas will increase over the
S portion Thu through early Fri ahead of Hurricane Helene moving
from the eastern Gulf of Mexico inland into the Southeast U.S.
All marine interests should closely monitor the latest forecasts
from the National Hurricane Center. A cold front will move S into
the northern waters Fri night then continue into the central
waters Sat into Sun. An area of low pressure will develop along
the NC coast Mon then drift offshore Mon night while dragging a
cold front through the far southern waters.
