July 29 2024 on a proposal to replace feet with meters when
describing seas in a variety of National Marine Center text
and graphical products for the Offshore and High Seas Areas

.SYNOPSIS...A coastal low pressure trough will strengthen near
the central and southern California coast tonight, and then
persist into Sun. High pressure will persist W and NW of the
waters into Sat night. Weakening low pressure will approach the
NW portion of the waters Sun, and then dissipate Sun night. High
pressure will prevail W of the waters Mon as the low pressure
trough remains near the coast. Another weakening low will
approach from the W Mon night, before dissipating Tue. The
coastal trough will gradually weaken Mon night and Tue, and
persist through Wed night as weak high pressure develops NW of
the waters.
