BERGEN...WESTCHESTER...BRONX...ROCKLAND AND NEW YORK (MANHATTAN)
COUNTIES THROUGH 700 PM EDT...

At 613 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Mount Kisco to Fort Lee. Movement was east at
25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Yonkers, Stamford, Norwalk, New Rochelle, White Plains, Mott Haven,
East Tremont, Hackensack, Port Chester, Bergenfield, Ossining, New
Canaan, Rye, Tarrytown, and Ridgefield.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
northeastern New Jersey...and southeastern New York.
