KINGS AND NEW YORK (MANHATTAN) COUNTIES THROUGH 645 PM EDT...

At 556 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking thunderstorms along a line
extending from Kinnelon to Rocky Hill. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Newark, Jersey City, Yonkers, Paterson, Elizabeth, Passaic, Bayonne,
Wayne, Mott Haven, Hoboken, Plainfield, Bloomfield, Hackensack,
Linden, and Orange.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
