...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of Knox County through
700 AM CDT...

At 607 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 5 miles northwest of Benjamin to 5 miles
northwest of Knox City to 4 miles southwest of Rochester. Movement
was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Munday, Knox City, Benjamin, Goree, Vera, Rhineland, and Gilliland.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
