...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM CDT
FOR CENTRAL OKLAHOMA COUNTY...

At 615 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over northern
Oklahoma City, or near The Village, moving southeast at 20 mph.

THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR south Edmond, Lake Aluma, Spencer,
Nicoma Park.

HAZARD...Baseball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters reported baseball hail near 150th
         and Penn.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.
         Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs,
         siding, and vehicles.

Locations impacted include...
Oklahoma City, Edmond, Midwest City, Del City, Choctaw, The Village,
Spencer, Nichols Hills, Jones, Nicoma Park, Luther, Arcadia, Tinker
Air Force Base, Forest Park, and Lake Aluma.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

This storm is producing large hail. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy
structure and stay away from windows.
