SOUTH CENTRAL FOREST, EAST CENTRAL CLARION AND NORTHWESTERN
JEFFERSON PA COUNTIES...
At 436 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles northwest
of Brookville, or 9 miles east of Clarion, moving northeast at 45
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Clarion, Strattanville, Limestone, Corsica, Sigel, Fisher, Cook
Forest State Park, Clarington and Clear Creek State Park.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
