.DISCUSSION...Today will be warmer with lower humidity compared to
yesterday, and winds will be primarily light and terrain driven
for most of the day. Winds will increase in the eastern Columbia
River Gorge and some of the Cascade eastern valleys tonight. On
Sunday, a dry cold front will travel across the region. Winds will
increase across the forecast area. Dry air aloft will accompany
the front, and the dry air mixing down to the surface will keep
the RHs low across the Columbia Basin. Winds will decrease Sunday
night, and Monday will be cooler with higher humidity with no
significant wind. The Cascades will have a chance of rain on
Wednesday but dry elsewhere.
