.DISCUSSION...A short wave will pass over the top of a flat ridge
today bringing breezy conditions through the Kittitas Valley as
well as the Gorge with winds expected to reach 20 mph 60-80%.
Winds through the Kittitas Valley will remain elevated as the
westerly winds aloft remain overhead through the period. The
upper level ridge will continue building in over the region with
the majority of the amplification over central OR. Temperatures
will steadily increase with Tuesday being the warmest day of the
period. Daytime RH values will decrease with central OR seeing
teens, however, no critical fire weather concerns through the
period.
