Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
243 PM MDT Thu Jun 27 2024

.Discussion...

Daily showers and thunderstorms can be expected most days over
the next week with Saturday and Sunday seeing the most widespread
wetting rainfalls of the next 7 days. Temperatures will remain above
normal through Friday, but then drop to near to slightly below normal
on Saturday as a cold front moves through the southeast plains.
Temperatures return to above normal by next week. With locally heavy
rainfall possible through the weekend, burn scars will need to be
monitored for the potential of flash flooding.

Afternoon dispersions will be very good or better across the district
on Friday and across the western half of the district on Saturday, with
only fair to good dispersions across the eastern mountains and Plains
on Saturday.
