.DISCUSSION...Unseasonably warm temperatures will remain in the
forecast through mid week, as upper level high pressure continues
to build across the Central Rockies. There remains enough moisture
to support daily chances of showers and thunderstorms across the
burn site. These storms, if they can develop, would be high based
bringing gusty outflow winds to the burn site, with little expected
measurable rainfall. The upper level ridge remains forecast to
slide south and east into the Southern Rockies allowing for an
expected increase in available moisture for Wednesday into the
weekend. This will bring better coverage of afternoon showers and
storms and better chances of wetting rains, along with cooler
temperatures to the region.
