...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in North
Carolina...

  Neuse River Near Goldsboro affecting Wayne County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Additional information is available at www.weather.gov/rah/rivers.

The next statement will be issued Monday morning.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL TOMORROW MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Neuse River near Goldsboro.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Minor flooding begins. Water overflows the
  banks at the Arrington Bridge Rd and upstream of the US-117
  bridge.  Ferry Bridge Rd begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 18.2 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:15 PM EDT Sunday was 18.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    tomorrow morning and continue falling to 13.6 feet Friday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
