...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT ANSON...SOUTHWESTERN
MONTGOMERY...WESTERN RICHMOND AND SOUTHEASTERN STANLY COUNTIES
THROUGH 215 PM EDT...

At 130 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Marshville, or 11 miles west of Wadesboro, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Wadesboro, Ansonville, Polkton, Norwood, Mount Gilead, Lilesville,
Morven, Peachland, McFarlan, and Diggs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
