...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT PERSON...VANCE...NORTHWESTERN
WARREN AND GRANVILLE COUNTIES THROUGH 1145 PM EDT...

At 1048 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Hitesburg, or 7 miles north of Virgilina, moving south at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Henderson, Oxford, Roxboro, Warrenton, Norlina, Concord, Stovall,
Middleburg, Gillburg, and Mayo Reservoir.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
