.DISCUSSION...

A quiet pattern will settle in for the first week of fall with
dry and mild weather expected. Mostly clear skies this afternoon
with some afternoon cumulus development across the crest in Mono
County with less than a 10% chance of an isolated shower.

Temperatures for the upcoming week will generally warm to a few
degrees above average on Monday with the warmest days targeting
Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the mid to upper 80s across
western Nevada. Temperatures will then slowly trend down closer to
season normals for the second half of the week.

Dry conditions are expected this week with no precipitation potential
in the forecast. Overnight humidity recoveries will be fair to poor
across portions of the western Nevada Basin and range with maximum
RH in the 30-40% range.

Otherwise expect light afternoon breezes through Tuesday before a
brushby shortwave trough increases southwesterly breezes on
Wednesday afternoon. Afternoon gusts of 20-30 mph with afternoon
RH of 15-20% could lead to isolated areas of critical fire weather
conditions, particularly across portions of far NE Lassen,
eastern Modoc, and far northern Washoe counties where winds and
dry conditions will be best aligned. Fuentes

.AVIATION...

VFR conditions will prevail into Monday with light afternoon breezes
and mostly sunny skies. Some afternoon cumulus develop will be
possible across Mono County this afternoon but any shower activity
near KMMH will be minimal (less than 5% chance). Fuentes
