Hot, dry conditions continue into early next week with poor mid-
slope recovery and afternoon breezes. Today a combination of low
RH and gusty winds with critical levels is expected for a few
afternoon hours, primarily in Modoc and northern Washoe counties.
A low pressure system could bring enhanced winds Wednesday, with
slightly cooler temperatures and continued dry conditions.

Hot, dry conditions continue into early next week with poor mid-
slope recovery and a return to afternoon and evening breezes.
There`s a slight chance of thunderstorms late Tuesday in the
northern Sierra, but most of the activity is expected east of the
crest. A low pressure system could bring enhanced winds by
Wednesday, with slightly cooler temperatures and continued dry
conditions.

Discussion for SF and Inyo

Conditions remain dry for most of the area despite recent
moisture in the area. While some localized areas may see wetting
rains in the coming days, most areas will not. Thunderstorm
development will bring concerns from lightning starts to outflow
winds possibly spreading them rapidly. Expect temperatures well
above normal and light winds through Wednesday.
