...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL SWEETWATER COUNTY
THROUGH 400 PM MDT...

At 258 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 14
miles east of Bitter Creek Rest Area, which is 14 miles west of
Wamsutter, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Wamsutter around 315 PM MDT.

This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 154 and 198.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
