.DISCUSSION...
A frontal boundary will reside over the area allowing for showers
and thunderstorms throughout today. Some thunderstorms could become
strong to severe across southeastern West Virginia and southwestern
Virginia with the main threat being damaging wind and hail. Cloudy
skies and rain showers will keep temperatures fairly low but still
around seasonable.
On Friday, the remnants of Helene approach the area. This will bring
gusty winds, and rain to much of the region.
The weekend looks to remain unsettled with occasional showers and
storms.
