...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT JACKSON AND CENTRAL VINTON
COUNTIES THROUGH 315 PM EDT...

At 234 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms 12 miles northwest of Jackson, moving southeast at 30
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Jackson, Wellston, Mcarthur, Oak Hill, Hamden, Coalton, Zaleski,
Petersburg, Allensville, Radcliffe, and Byer.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
