...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN WIRT...NORTHWESTERN
ROANE AND NORTHEASTERN JACKSON COUNTIES THROUGH 700 PM EDT...

At 630 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Ravenswood, or 8 miles north of Ripley, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ravenswood, Sandyville, Reedy, Leroy, and Peewee.

This includes Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 144
and 154.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
