...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN POCAHONTAS COUNTY
THROUGH 400 PM EDT...

At 311 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Beartown State Park, or 9 miles northeast of Renick, moving east at
20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Marlinton, Hillsboro, Buckeye, Minnehaha Springs, and Cranberry
Mountain Nature Center.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
