...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WESTERN MINGO AND SOUTHWESTERN
LOGAN COUNTIES THROUGH 345 PM EDT...

At 320 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Oppy, or 12 miles east of Inez, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Williamson, Delbarton, Holden, South Williamson, Red Jacket,
Chattaroy, Mount Gay-Shamrock, Matewan, Kermit, Verdunville,
Chauncey, Myrtle, Switzer, Dingess, Varney, Lenore, and Breeden.

This includes Route 119 between mile markers 1 and 26.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
