Locally dense fog will persist across the mountain river valleys
and the foothills through the morning, reducing visibilities
anywhere from one quarter mile to a few hundred feet in spots.
When driving in fog, motorists are urged to slow down to a safe
speed, allow extra separation distance with surrounding vehicles,
and to use low beam headlights. Fog will burn off after 9 AM this
morning, but may linger in some of the mountain valleys through 11
AM.
