...MAINLY DRY CONDITIONS EXPECTED THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS...

.METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS (SAT AM - THU NIGHT)...

Ridging building over the western U.S. is expected to provide
generally dry conditions over the next several days, although some
guidance indicates the potential for a few stray showers over the
higher terrain of the Sierra the next couple afternoons. Around Wed
into Wed night, guidance shows a weakening cold front moving into
the Pac NW and far northern CA. Models show the potential for light
precip as far south as the Smith and upper Klamath basins, but for
the most part conditions look fairly dry. Followed WPC guidance,
which keeps precip just north of the CNRFC forecast area. Dry
conditions are expected Thu with a weak trough axis near northern
CA.
