.SYNOPSIS...A weather system will move across the region today,
bringing more widespread rain, breezy winds, and chances of
isolated thunderstorms. Winds are strong near the summit. Another
system will move into the region Thursday evening into Friday,
bringing another round of rain, high elevation snow and strong
winds at Camp Muir and the summit. Conditions will then dry out
over the weekend. Additional, weaker systems may move into the
area early next week.

.IMPACTS...Stormy weather will create difficult mountaineering
conditions at 10,000 feet and above, with local blizzard-like
conditions, strong winds, and near zero visibility. A high level
of skill and experience in alpine terrain, including use of GPS,
is recommended for navigation and camping in these situations.

.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of
thunderstorms and showers in the evening, then mostly cloudy
after midnight. Snow level near 7500 feet in the evening.
.THURSDAY...Sunny. Freezing level near 9000 feet increasing to
12000 feet in the afternoon.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain and snow in
the evening, then mostly cloudy with rain and snow after
midnight. No snow accumulation near Paradise. Snow level near
11500 feet.
.FRIDAY...Partly sunny. A slight chance of rain and snow in the
morning. Snow level near 8000 feet.
