...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL SHANNON AND
NORTHEASTERN OREGON COUNTIES THROUGH 815 PM CDT...

At 740 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles north of Alton, or 20 miles southeast of Mountain View, moving
east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Greer.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
