445 AWUS84 KSJT 161008 RWSSJT WEATHER SUMMARY FOR WEST CENTRAL TEXAS NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SAN ANGELO TX 508 AM CDT Sun Jun 16 2024 And now, here`s your Regional Weather Summary, for West Central Texas. Early this morning there were a couple clusters of showers and storms, one in the eastern Concho Valley and Heartland with the other moving into the western Big Country. Elsewhere, skies were partly to mostly clear with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. Winds were gusty out of the south to southeast at 5 to 15 mph with gusts to 25 mph. Now, here`s a quick forecast summary, for West Central Texas. The current shower and storm activity should gradually weaken through the morning. There is a slight chance for showers and storms across our western counties this afternoon but most locations should stay dry with highs in the 90s to around 100 for the western Concho Valley. The start of the work week should be pretty tame with similar temperatures in the 90s and partly to mostly sunny skies. Chances for rain return late Wednesday and peak during the day on Thursday where heavy rainfall leading to flash flooding will be possible. Conditions dry back out and warm back up for the weekend. $$
