This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated thunderstorms possible across northwestern
Puerto Rico. Be aware of thunderstorms in your area and be prepared
to take shelter.

.Excessive Rainfall...Ponding of water in roads and poorly
drained areas expected across northwestern Puerto Rico. Urban and
small streams flooding is possible.

.Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects anyone without
effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. Impacts likely in
some health systems, heat-sensitive industries and infrastructure.

.Wind...Breezy conditions. Unsecured items could blow around.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the
surf zone particularly across the southern beaches of Puerto
Rico.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

The heat threat will continue each day. A moderate risk of rip
currents is expected to return on Sunday. Hazardous seas and
life-threatening rip currents across most east and south facing
beaches of the islands could increase by early next week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is encouraged. Please relay any information
about heat, flooding, winds, and rip currents to the National
Weather Service in San Juan.

some health systems, heat-sensitive industries and infrastructure.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the
surf zone particularly across all beaches of St. Croix.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

The heat threat will continue each day. A moderate risk of rip
currents is expected to continue for the beaches of St. Croix through
the weekend. Hazardous seas and life-threatening rip currents
across most east and south facing beaches of the islands could
increase by early next week.
