.DISCUSSION...Southwesterly winds will increase throughout the day with
gusts 25-30 mph in the afternoon. Widespread thunderstorm
development will begin around noon. Storms today have an unusually
higher risk to be strong or severe. These storms will be capable
of producing gusty erratic winds, large hail, torrential
downpours, and frequent lightning. Several rounds of thunderstorms
are possible today with activity persisting through the evening
before tapering off around midnight. Drier and cooler air will
filter in behind a front overnight, but there still remains ~20%
chance for an afternoon thunderstorm on Friday.

Sky/weather.........Partly cloudy (45-55 percent cloud cover).
                    Isolated showers and thunderstorms in the
                    morning, then numerous rain showers and
                    scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon.
