.DISCUSSION...Moist air coming in from the east has spilled over
the terrain and across the burn site early this morning, with RH
approaching 70 percent. This much more moist air will remain in
place today, with Min RH likely not dropping out of the 30 percent
range today. A few showers and storms will track through the area
today, with the potential for brief heavy rain, gusty winds and
even small hail. Given the spotty nature of the convection,
possible rainfall amounts today range from 0 to up to 0.50."
Because of that range, the CWR comes out right at 50% for today.
Drier and warmer air will move back into the area on Saturday,
though not quite as dry as the past several days. Enough moisture
will remain in place to support an isolated shower or storm. Min
RH will continue to drop early in the week along with hot
temperatures, and overnight recovery will be minimal. A slight
increase in moisture later this week may be enough to support
isolated showers and thunderstorms.
