.DISCUSSION...A strong cold front will make its way across the
site late Monday afternoon or early Monday evening. Ahead of this
front, west winds will increase by late morning, becoming gusty at
times through the afternoon. The passage of the front will bring a
wind shift to the northwest and an abrupt drop in temperatures.
Winds will tend to decrease by early Tuesday. The passage of the
front will be mostly dry, with a slight chance of showers and
thunderstorms. Any storms that develop will be capable of
producing gusty and erratic microburst winds. More tranquil
conditions will return beginning Tuesday, with temperatures
steadily warming during the week.
