...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Georgia, including
  the following counties, in south central Georgia, Thomas. In
  southwest Georgia, Grady.

* WHEN...Until 1130 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 923 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Cairo, Thomasville, Ochlocknee, Coolidge, Whigham, Grady Co
    A/p, Pine Park, Akridge, Capel, Dawesville, Princes Still,
    Elpino, Spence, Beachton, Pasco, Quality, Moncrief, Reno,
    Rocky Hill and Peoples Still.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
