...GUSTY SHOWERS WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL MORRIS...NORTHWESTERN
SHAWNEE...WABAUNSEE...SOUTHEASTERN POTTAWATOMIE...WESTERN JACKSON AND
NORTHWESTERN LYON COUNTIES THROUGH 715 PM CDT...

At 636 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a gust front along a line
extending from 4 miles northwest of Emmett to 3 miles south of
McFarland to near Council Grove. Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
         around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Holton, Council Grove, Rossville, Alma, Eskridge, St. Marys, Dover,
Silver Lake, Maple Hill, McFarland, Paxico, Belvue, Emmett, Delia,
Willard, Potawatomi Reservation, and Keene.

This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 329 and 351.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
northeastern and east central Kansas.
