...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL SHAWNEE AND
NORTHEASTERN OSAGE COUNTIES THROUGH 645 PM CDT...

At 615 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Carbondale, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Strong wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated. This storm has had a history of producing
         50-60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Southern Topeka, Carbondale, Auburn, Overbrook, Scranton, and
Berryton.

This includes Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 164 and 172.
