The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southwestern Franklin County in east central Kansas...
  Northwestern Anderson County in east central Kansas...
  Southeastern Osage County in east central Kansas...
  Northeastern Coffey County in east central Kansas...

* Until 945 PM CDT.

* At 856 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Olivet,
  moving east at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Lyndon, Waverly, Williamsburg, Quenemo, Melvern, Olivet, Beto
  Junction, and Harris.

This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 155 and 182.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for east central
Kansas.
