.LONG TERM...
(Tonight through Wednesday)
Issued at 337 AM CDT Thu Sep 26 2024

A day late, but the NBM has finally caught on to the more eastern
track of the cutoff upper low to our east that will interact with
the remnants of Hurricane Helene. Rain chances Friday will be
confined to far eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas, with any
heavy rainfall remaining to the east of our forecast area. Rain
chances will end Friday night as the system slowly shifts farther
to the northeast.

A weak cold front will move across the area early next week with
little fanfare. Dry weather will continue, with temperatures a few
degrees above the seasonal averages.
