showers and thunderstorms generally in northwest Arkansas and far
northeast Oklahoma. Showers were heaviest in Delaware county in
Oklahoma and Carroll county in Arkansas. The precipitation was in
the Tulsa area. Movement was to the southeast at around 30 mph. The
average amount where it rained last hour was less than one tenth of
an inch with maximum amounts of one half to three quarters of an
inch. Coverage increased but intensity decreased during the last
hour. The Tulsa area forecast for early this evening, cloudy,
showers likely and a chance of thunderstorms with temperatures 67 to
78 degrees and northeast winds up to 5 mph.
