showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mostly in northwest
Arkansas and far northeast Oklahoma. They were most widespread and
heaviest in Delaware county in Oklahoma and Benton county in
Arkansas. Movement was to the southeast at around 30 mph. The
average amount where it rained last hour was less than one tenth of
an inch with maximum amounts of three quarters to around an inch.
Coverage, and intensity increased during the last hour. The Tulsa
area forecast for early this evening, cloudy, showers likely and a
chance of thunderstorms with temperatures 67 to 78 degrees and
northeast winds up to 5 mph.
