This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...Near and southeast of I-44.
ONSET...Late Morning.

HEAVY RAIN.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...Far eastern OK and northwest AR.
ONSET...Ongoing.

DISCUSSION...
Numerous showers and scattered storms will continue to develop
across the area this morning, gradually diminishing from west to
east during the afternoon. There is a limited risk for locally
heavy rainfall with any storms. The risk for severe weather is
also low, with the best chance occurring during the late morning
and afternoon hours across northwest AR. Temperatures will be well
below normal today with a breezy northerly wind.

Local Spotter Activation May Be Needed.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

TUESDAY TO THURSDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
FRIDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...High Wind Potential...Heavy Rain Potential.
SATURDAY TO SUNDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Additional showers and thunderstorms will develop Tuesday evening
into Wednesday as another storm system moves through the area.
That system will linger near the area through the weekend,
bringing a good chance of heavy rain, thunder, and wind Friday. A
few showers or storms could linger into the weekend but confidence
is low at this time.
